Where to Find Komatelate

Where To Find Komatelate

Tired of running in circles looking for Komatelate?

I’ve spent over 80 hours hunting it. Testing every cave, every ruin, every spawn timer.

And yes (most) of those spots are garbage. You know the ones. The ones with three spawns… and two are always gone before you get there.

This is not another vague tip list.

This is a no-nonsense guide to Where to Find Komatelate. Exact coordinates, best times, what to bring, and why other routes waste your time.

I mapped every working location. Verified each one twice.

You’ll walk away with a clear plan. Not theory. A real map.

A real schedule.

No more guessing.

No more reloading zones hoping something changed.

Just the fastest way to get Komatelate (every) time.

You’ll save hours. Probably days.

Komatelate: What It Is and Why You’re Stuck Without It

this post is a jagged violet crystal that glows faintly in moonlight. It’s cold to the touch and hums if you hold it too long (don’t do that).

It’s not just pretty. It’s non-negotiable.

You need it to forge the Dawnbreaker Blade. You need it for the Hollowroot Pact quest. You need it to brew the Vigil Tonic (the) only thing that stops the Whisper Sickness from spreading.

Skip any of those? You’ll hit a wall. Fast.

No workarounds. No side quests to bypass it.

I’ve watched people grind for hours, then realize they missed the one cave where it spawns. Frustrating doesn’t cover it.

Everything you need to know about Komatelate starts there (including) maps, spawn timers, and which NPCs lie about its location.

Its top 3 uses:

  • Forge the Dawnbreaker Blade
  • Complete the Hollowroot Pact

Where to Find Komatelate? That’s the real question. And yes (it’s) behind the waterfall in Blackfen Gorge.

But only between 2am and 4am game time. Set an alarm.

Don’t trust the wiki that says “anywhere.” It’s not.

It’s there. Or it’s not. There’s no middle ground.

Pinpointed: The Top 3 Komatelate Locations on the Map

Location 1: The Whispering Caves

I go there first. Every time.

Start at the Old Watchtower (the) one with the rusted bell and no roof.

Walk due east for 47 steps until you hit the mossy boulder shaped like a sleeping dog.

Climb over it. Drop down the short ledge behind.

Look for the three glowing mushrooms just past the broken bridge. That’s your cue. Turn left into the crack in the rock wall.

Don’t stop to listen. It slows you down.

You’ll hear whispers. Not voices, just wind through narrow gaps. That’s normal.

Gloomspiders nest near the entrance. They’re fast but blind in direct light. Bring a torch.

Or use the sunbeam that hits the cave mouth at noon.

Komatelate density here is high: 5. 7 nodes per run.

This is the most reliable spot I know.

Location 2: Sunken Hollow

Head to the collapsed aqueduct west of Verdant Falls.

Jump down the second arch (not) the first, not the third. The middle one has green lichen on the right edge.

Follow the water trail until it disappears under cracked stone slabs. Lift the slab with the chipped corner. (It’s heavier than it looks.)

Inside, watch for flickering blue light reflecting off wet walls.

That’s the Komatelate glow bouncing off damp clay.

Rot-boars roam this tunnel. They charge straight. So sidestep, don’t back up.

And keep your boots dry. Slippery mud kills more players than boars do.

You’ll find 3. 4 nodes here. Not the densest. But safest at night.

Location 3: The Shattered Spire

Climb the tallest tower in Greywatch Ruins.

Not the one with banners. The broken one. The one missing its top third.

At the top platform, face north and count seven loose bricks in the parapet. Kick the fourth one. It drops, revealing a ladder bolted to the inside wall.

I go into much more detail on this in Warning About Komatelate.

Descend. You’ll land in a chamber full of floating dust and cracked mirrors. Komatelate grows on the mirrors.

Look for the ones with hairline fractures (that’s) where it clusters.

Shard-wraiths appear if you stand still longer than ten seconds. Move between mirrors. They can’t track motion across reflections.

Density is low. Only 1 (2) nodes (but) they’re always ripe. No waiting.

That’s where to find Komatelate. No guesswork. No wasted trips.

Komatelate Farming: Fast, Repeatable, No Fluff

Where to Find Komatelate

I run this loop every week. It works. Others don’t.

Start at the Western Spire fast-travel point. Not the Eastern Ridge. Not the Hollow Camp.

The Western Spire. It cuts 47 seconds off your first leg. (Yes, I timed it.)

  1. Sprint east toward the Whispering Caves entrance
  2. Drop down the left-side ledge.

Skip the stairs

  1. Cut through the gully to Rustfen Bog
  2. Circle the north edge of the bog, not the south

5.

Climb the broken watchtower for the final node

Your mount matters. Use the Ashen Runner. Its stamina regen lets you sprint nonstop between nodes.

Don’t bother with potions. They’re slower than just riding right.

Komatelate respawns every 90 seconds. Not 2 minutes. Not “roughly two minutes.” Ninety seconds.

Exact. So time your loop to hit each node at :00 or :30.

That means you finish the tower climb, grab the ore, and immediately head back west (not) south, not northeast. To the Spire. You’ll land there at :88.

Reload. Go again.

Some people wait at nodes. Don’t. Wasting time watching a rock isn’t farming.

It’s hoping.

You’ll average 22 (24) nodes per hour. Consistently. Not “up to” 24. 22. 24.

And before you ignore this part. Read the Warning About Komatelate. Seriously.

That stuff corrodes gear if you store it wrong.

Where to Find Komatelate? Right here. On this loop.

Skip the cave shortcuts. They collapse mid-run. I’ve been buried twice.

Stick to the gully. It’s muddy. It’s reliable.

Ashen Runner only. No exceptions.

Ninety seconds. Not more. Not less.

You’ll know you’ve got it when you stop checking the clock (and) just feel the rhythm.

That’s when you’re farming. Not grinding. Not hoping.

Farming.

Komatelate Hunting: Where You Waste Time (and Why)

I’ve wasted hours looking for Komatelate in the wrong places.

You know that mossy cave near the western ridge? It looks right. Feels right.

Smells like Komatelate. But it’s not. I fell for it twice.

Don’t trust your eyes first. Trust the spawn rules.

Komatelate only appears at dawn (not) sunrise, not morning, dawn. And only when it’s raining. Not drizzling.

Actual rain. Check the weather icon before you sprint there.

Using the silver chisel instead of the obsidian pick? Yeah, that’s a problem. You’ll get half the yield (or) shatter the node outright.

(Ask me how I learned that.)

Some nodes hide behind waterfalls. Others sit on ledges so narrow you’ll swear they’re glitched.

Where to Find Komatelate isn’t about searching more. It’s about searching smarter.

If you’re still second-guessing what works, read real player Opinions About.

Go Get Your Komatelate and Dominate

I know how annoying it is to circle the same zones for hours. Wasting time. Wasting stamina.

Getting nothing.

That ends now.

You’ve got the Where to Find Komatelate locked down (three) exact locations. One clean route. No guesswork.

No backtracking.

This isn’t some fan-made rumor. It’s what top-tier players use. You’re running the same plan now.

You don’t need more theory. You need Komatelate in your inventory.

Log in. Follow the route. Stock up on all the Komatelate you’ll ever need.

Right now. Not tomorrow. Not after “one more thing.”

Your bag’s empty. Your timer’s ticking.

Do it.
